Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - The Sky Is Crying
    1991 Epic EK-47390

The first "compilation" album released after his death. But it really isn't a "greatest hits" album...but 10 previously unreleased tracks spanning his career. Afterward came the plethera of greatest hits albums...but none compare with this one. There could be conversation that this may be equal to "In Step"...an album many consider to be the best he ever produced. I would not argue. "The Sky is Crying", this version of "Little Wing", "May I Have A Talk With You" and "Life By The Drop" are exceptional. A must have SRV album!

PS: I've hit the BACK button about 4 times to hear "Life By The Drop" (the last track). DAMN! What a great cut...and a great sign-off to a great muscian's career. I wish he had lived to make more music like this. I miss him.

I still have the Moscode :D

Seller of the Maggies was in complete awe when we hooked it up to my amp. He didn't want to sell them to me after hearing them on my setup, even with my entry-level preamp. I can't turn it up too much, the Moscode runs them with authority. I've heard it play on a bigger set of Maggies and it performed flawlessly without even getting warm.

They sound very nice, especially since it's live. Of course it's at a 'moderate' volume, I've been buying my CD's over again for a year now (about 1-2 every week) since all mine got lost during a move.
