Richerd Elliot - CRUSH
Jackson Browne - Late For the Sky THE BEST of all of the Jackson Browne albums (and I have them all). Eight songs, 40 min. 48 sec. of music and I am NEVER tempted to hit the remote to skip a single second. It is that good IMO and one of my top 5 albums of all time.

I don't know guys....I'd have to give "Everyman" the nod but agree that both are stellar albums.
IMO they contain some of the finest songs ever written by anyone from the Baby Boom generation.....
Well I’ve been out walking
I don’t do that much talking these days
These days--
These days I seem to think a lot
About the things that I forgot to do
For you
And all the times I had the chance to
And I had a lover
It’s so hard to risk another these days
These days--
Now if I seem to be afraid
To live the life I have made in song
Well it’s just that I’ve been losing so long
I’ll keep on moving
Things are bound to be improving these days
These days--
These days I sit on corner stones
And count the time in quarter tones to ten, my friend
Don’t confront me with my failures
I had not forgotten them
While I type this.....

Yes, For Everyman is also a great album but I have it being edged out to 3rd place by Jackson's debut album...but hey...put any one of the three in the CDP and I'm good to go!Originally posted by BlueMDPicker

Preserved much of the order of tracks on releases like "Tarkus"...
ELP recorded some of the most beautiful and powerful 70's rock.
"From the Beginning", "Lucky Man" and "Still... You Turn Me On" are three of the former.

That is bull****. Rap and hip hop are one in the same. Both are part of my culture. Rap is what hip hop artist do in there music. Hip hop is a style of rap.

hip hop was first.
hip hop sounds more educated anyways.... nelly isn't, was, or never will be a hip hop artist.
when i think of rap i think of TV and stupid video's, cars and jewelry... which is unforutnate.
rap stemmed from hip-hop.
i guess if rap would come off from more of an educated standpoint (not saying it's stupid) i guess i could change my opinion.
don't get me wrong... i like rap... but man rap artists now can't be put in the same boat as ones 10-15 years ago. there was still originaliity then...
