Last night was Sinatra at the Sands w/Count Basie Orchestra

THIS is THE live album to own. Everyone raves about Belafonte at Carnegie and rightfully so but this album is as well done as that PLUS it's Frank. A must have. Any guy that refers to women as 'broads' in normal conversation is worth listening to. ;)

This morning we are rolling w/ Dusty in Memphis.

Various Hendrix live tracks. Man, I never get tired of hearing him and Mitch Mitchell. What a combo. Talk about a guy who packed a lot of experience (pardon the pun) into such a short life. Touches you to core of your soul!!

Picked up that legendary release not too long ago myself. Absolutely top notch...

I've been a ...Heads fan since I first heard "Once in a Lifetime" on the car radio many moons ago. When I did I immediately drove to my favorite record store and bought Remain in Light. Not long after I bought their three earlier releases. I hung with them 'til the bitter end...

Stop Making Sense, Speaking in Tongues and Remain in the Light will always be in heavy rotation

This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) is quite possibly one of the most beautiful songs ever written

    Billy Idol - Vital Idol

EDIT - This is a good tape! There are several songs on here I recognize! And the rest are pretty good. So far I've recognized "Dancing With Myself" and "Mony Mony". "White Wedding" was good, too.

EDITx2 - The back side is good, too. :D

I am loving it, for sure!! I just can't begin to express the thrill of having 82 tapes sitting beside you...tapes of great artists/groups who you've never heard of, much less heard, each tape containing its own style, personality, just waiting to break out and rattle the windows! I should buy music blindly more often! LOL

Brand new 180 gm LP,Dylan- "Modern Times", great sound and kinda like "Blood on the Tracks" as far as mood. Worth a listen (or two) if you dig him.
