    Default New speakers!

As indicated in my For Sale listing of my TSi200s, I picked up new speakers last night. I was able to snag some TSi500s from a gentleman who happened to live five miles away from my house. I've never seen TSi500s listed on my local craigslist, so to find these mere hours after they were listed was a big surprise!

My son (3.5 yr) came along to listen to them, which he really enjoyed. The gentleman was really cool about having him over, so it was fun. I think my son's general awesomeness also helped me get a 25% discount on his original asking price (which was already incredibly good), so I got the speakers for an amazing deal!

I'm definitely looking forward to calibrating them this long weekend!

Guilty as charged. Between tending to our infant with a cold, taking care of our toddler, and watching Zero Dark Thirty, I didn't get the opportunity :)

I'm off for four days, so pics WILL happen!

So how did you attach them to the ceiling like that?

I decided to remove my media center from the ceiling, as I was getting too light-headed while watching a movie.

Cheers, friend! I assume you're asking about the pictures above the speakers? If so, they are Pixar lithographs in some simple frames.

That would be what interior decorators refer to as, "image noise caused by low-lighting and taken with my iPhone 4S."
