PJ,
When choosing a amplifier, make sure that if it is a 2 channel amp
and you bridge it , make sure that it will drive a 2 Ohm mono load.
Look for power rating of 500 to 800 Watts depending on the enclosure that you are going to install the woofers in.
The sealed enclosure of .88 cubic feet will be the most power
demanding so go for MORE!!! The bandpass does have "gain"
incorporated into the design and will not have to driven as hard
to achieve a higher SPL.
Some amplifiers that you might want to look at are from Alpine MRV1507, MTX 8100 D, Kicker's ZR series, Rockford Fosgate's 800a2 or their monoblocks. and Zapco. A good crossover point is 80 Hertz. Remember to "break-in" the woofers for 40 hours by playing music at a reasonable level to let the woofer's suspension
"break-in" or loosen up. If you have any questions give us a call
at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time and we will be glad to help.
Happy Amp Hunting!!
