    Question Blocking Capacitors

Have just installed a pair of EX352, and a pair of EX369 speakers in a Mitsubishi Mirage. Put a 120uf capacitor (with 1.5uf and 0.15uf bypass)in series with each EX352 to limit the low frequencies going to those speakers.
My question is, will the big caps corrupt the internal crossovers of those speakers? IOW is this the correct way to hook up these homemade bass blockers?

I apologize if this topic has already been covered, just point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

    Hello,
The speakers have a high pass filter for the tweeter, meaning the only additional filtering that is going on with the speaker is a blocking capacitor preventing frequencies below approximately 2kHz from reaching the tweeter.
Your external high pass filter won't effect this internal arrangement, it will continue functioning as designed.
