Airplay355,
Nice speaker setup. How do you like the csi40 center channel and the fxi30 rear surrounds? I'm looking into getting a similar setup (i.e. csi40 and maybe the fxi50 or fxi5 rears). I've got some SDA-2bs for the mains, but I'm wondering if they will sound good for home theatre use. They are excellent for music. Anyway, just curious how you like them.
most people seem to think the lsi line is a better match for the sdas then the rti line is but thats up to you, the lsi's are alot more expensive lol
the surrounds and the center are great, the csi40 is amazing. it doesnt have that small sound that some centers have, like everything is coming from one little spot on the screen. its alot nicer then the cs245i thats above it. the large drivers are definitely a plus, the bass that comes from that thing is pretty amazing. you wont be disappointed with it at all.
the fxi30s are great too, they blend seamlessly with the rest of my setup, not to mention they are crystal clear and dont give very much in terms of localization. most people went with the fxi30s because they didnt feel that the larger driver was really necessary with a surround speaker, i agreed, but what the hell if u have the money and it makes u feel better then buy the larger speakers

SDA series matches the RT series with Tri Lam tweeters...atleast if I remember correctly
CS400i
FX500i
Will be a much better match than the CSi40 and FXi50
And as Airplay said, the LSi series matches as well.
