    Default mm120s

ok i have a few general questions
did the mm120s ever have more than a 1 year warranty?
and my friend wants to buy some subs and i recommended polk
how much of a difference between the dx series and the momos??
    also
if u have a box with sufficient air space for 2 mm120s does the poly-fill stuffing help?
i have an extended cab truck and i wanted to know of i should put the dyno mat in it and if so where and what kind of dyno mat should i use?
    thanks again

    Cody,
The MOMO series speakers have a 3 year warranty. Our dx series has a 1 year warranty. Both the MOMO MM120 and the dx12 require the same sealed box volume of .88 cubic feet.
The MOMO woofers do have a more rigid cone and the baskets are cast aluminum so you can't distort the basket when securing the woofer to the enclosure therefore causing the voice coil to be misaligned if installed onto a not so perfectly flat surface. Cosmetically there is no comparison. Plus power handling is significantly improved over the dx series. The peak power rating on the dx12 is 600 Watts and for the MM120 it is 1000 Watts.

Polyfill does help to tame any internal resonances that may occur
inside of the enclosure. This also acts as a heat sink to cool the tempature inside of the enclosure as the air is being compressed. Too much can over damp the woofer and cause a reduction in bass response. Depending on the amount of polyfill you install into the enclosure, you can increase the total volume of the enclosure that the woofer sees
by as much as 20 percent.

Regarding Dynamat, do it !! They offer several different types. It would depend on the degree of damping that you are trying to obtain.
I would suggest checking out their website first, then consult your dealer. It is tedious to install, but well worth the end result.

    Thanks,
    Kim
