    Question ? Running dual receivers?

Ok maybe this is a strange question.

Does anyone run dual receivers, using the amps of both and preouts of one?

    Here's my situation.

    I have a yamaha RX-V1, which I love, I also have a Sony TA-N9000ES amp.
I currently use the yamaha as an amp, and as a preamp for the sony.
I am driving dual mains and dual center channels up front. I also drive a set of mains to the rear, B channel on the yamaha for music only.

I like this speaker arrangement and don't want to change it.

However the Sony and the Yamaha have different wattage ratings and I want all the speakers to receive the same wattage and signal characteristics.
I don't want to go the route of separate amps for all 11 (surrounds and rear center) speakers.
Also most amps don't have a B channel , so even if I used the yamaha as a preamp only, I would still need more than 1 additional amps.

I'm planning on getting a second, identical yamaha to replace the sony as this would also be the cheapest fix.

    Question is:

Is there anything I'm not seeing or taking into consideration, that I should be aware of?

    thanks,

    -Luc

just saw the Luc and I see no issue as long as all amps hve the head room at the volumes you listen. The lowest rated amp is the bottle neck...

    Thumbs up Thanks Henry

Just wanted to pass it by an expert.
Yes amps will be identical, 110wpc, and more than enough volume..
