IOW box size should be made to accommodate the T/S parameters of the sub(s) you're putting in it.
There is no "one size fits all" - now, yes there are pre-made boxes - and you can most likely find a "close enough" sealed box for your subs... But if you're making a box, why not make it exactly the right size?

im also looking to build my own box for 1 12. any blue prints and directions for someone who doesnt know how to build stuff? like me

whats the recommended size for each?
what are the t/s parameters?
do you have any size restrictions?
