Happy Father's Day

President Calvin Coolidge, in 1924, supported the idea of a national Father's Day. Then in 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed a presidential proclamation declaring the 3rd Sunday of June as Father's Day.

To all the Fathers out there, wishing you the best on this day. At the end of the day, the most important thing is what you come home to and that is your family. Although I am not a father myself, I do appreciate this day and the opportunities my father has allowed me to harvest.

I started my family late in life. While coming up I lived life on the edge. Work, accomplishments at work, contacts/contracts or cash was my focus. Was I happy? Sure, but I was living in ignorance and it was a blessing because I learned what is truely important. There is no way to express the happiness I feal now, (in comparison), and would live in a vw bug to keep Love.

Thats what fathers day is about... LEARNING why we are here!

I crashed on the couch watching TV last night and at 3 am Talia came and curled up with me because she thought I was lonely. "My fathers day gift".

God has blessed be beyond my wildest imagination.

I am truely Thankfull! Happy Fathersday to all!

This is my first father's day as a dad, and I am truly blessed to have the son that I have. It's wierd, being torn between not wanting him to grow so fast, and wanting to be able to be old enough to play catch and stuff.
