Just because you don't want to run 4 ohms doesn't mean you can't use the LSiC. You could still run it if you keep the SPL levels down, You put in a four Ohm resistor in line to boost the resistance. Not a big deal. IMHO, I wouldn't want to run anything else, the timbre match wouldn't be there. Especially in the front stage.
