Question Help with Home Theater Surround Sound System Planning

    hello:

I am planning a system and need some input into speaker and amp selection from some of the Gurus on this forum.

Amplifier = Yamaha RVX2400 already purchased.

    Speakers

2-Polk Audio Monitor 5 (Oldies But very goodies) - Front Channels
    2- Polk Audion LSI-7 - Back Channels
1- Polk Audio LSC - Front Center

Will, I have any problems with speaker impedance ???

    The speakers ??

The Receiver ???The The Yamaha AMP is a definate for me and I really love the monitor 5's , they are about 12 years old and are wonderful.

I do not drive my speakers hard at all, I do not like loud music, but accurate music.

Thank you in advance for your help !!!

Better read this thread before you do anything else. Looks like the 2400 may not be the best bet for Lsi speakers.

You might want to consider the Rti line or the new moniter speakers when they become available.

You might want to definitely not consider the new monitor line. Just my .02. Check my post in the speaker section for why.
