Hi All -

Does anyone else have a vintage pair of the above listed monitors? I am originally from Baltimore, Md and brought these new in 1977 for$265 a piece! I think that I own a part of Audio History (that I would not sell for any amount of money) because I am told that these original models were built by Matthew Polk himself in the good ol days when his factory was in Baltimore. (I believe that is where he was born) Here it is a full 25 years later and I still have not heard ANYTHING in its price range that sounds better than this speaker! Do I get the prize for having listened to Polks the longest? LOL

I picked mine up in '89. They are in my livingroom right now. Gotta love them SL2000 tweets.:D
