Default Wharfedale towers, center and 3 rears

I am selling my home theater system, which includes Wharfedale towers, a center channel and 3 rears.

Towers: Valdus 500 SE
Center and Rears: Valdus Center SE

The specs on the tower are 2-8 icnh woffer, 1-8 inch mid, 1-1 inch Dome tweeter. It is dual ported (one in front and one in back) 93db, 8 ohms.

The specs on the the Center are 2-4.25 inch mid, 1-1 inch dome tweeter. It is 8 ohms and is 90db.

http://www.wharfedale.co.uk/valdus.pdf

All the speakers are in excellent condition, and since these are the SE (special edition) of the speakers, they have an upgraded crossover, and improved drivers. I am selling these as I dont have time to enjoy my home theater, with school, internship and work. I can use the extra money around the house and some projects I am working on. I can email picutres and more specs if needed, just email me faheem6@hotmail.com

The asking price is 550 (obo)

I forgot to mention that the color of the speakers, since they are SE, are all wood finish. Again if you are curious how they look, or have the slightest intrested, just email me and ill send out the pictures.

Right now I am selling my reciever and speakers for 2 reason. Currently I have no time to enjoy it. I have school full time, intership part-time, and job part time. 2nd reason being that I am upgrading my tv soon. For the last 14 years, I have been living with a 27 inch JVC. In about 3-4 weeks I will be upgrading to a Toshbia CRT projection tv. I will live with this tv and sadly SRS surround sound, for about another month. At the begninig of September I might start looking into buying new gear. So to break it down, I have no time, and will use the cash toward new tv, then later will buy new gear. Let me know if you anymore questions.

This is a cool feature (from the web site):

'When you hear these Valdus speakers, you won't be able to resist 'testing' them to the limit. If you do over-cook it slightly, no problem, the overload protection will kick in, disconnecting the tweeters for a couple of seconds to save your equipment. '

Indeed a nice feature, somthing I never tested with my Yamaha reciever. I dont think I have ever turned the reciever over 42 db. Considering the speakers are rated at 93db. They dont require that much power. I know when I listned to music I usally have the volume anywhere between 58-63 db, and its more than loud enough.

Also just looking over the website, it states that these speakers use, spring clips. Again since these are the SE version, their are 5-way glod plated binding post.

man, these seem to be awesome. back when I actually thought I could end up with some speakers, I listened to some Wharfedales. I love the sound of 'em. I'm not sure if this would be an appropriate question for this thread, questioning this guy's equipment (no offense, faheem5), but what are y'all's opinions?

I think they'd be pretty awesome....

Also, where are you located? Asking so that maybe I could come buy and look at 'em and maybe pick 'em up.

Also, what are the surrounds?
