    Default Polk DB3065

Anyone have an instruction manual for this component set. I want to fine tune my system, but I want to know freq ranges of each speaker I have.

I need to know the frequency rages for:
    DB3000
    DB6510
    DB5510

Any info on the cut offs and slope on the cross overs would be nice as well.

    Thanks.

    db3000 - Frequency Response 4 kHz - 23 kHz, Impedance 5.8 Ohms, Sensitivity 91 dB, Power Handling 100 Watts

    db6510 - Frequency Response 45 Hz - 4.5 kHz, Impedance 3.9
Ohms, Sensitivity 87 dB, Power Handling 100 Watts

    db5510 - Frequency Response 60 Hz - 5.5 kHz, Impedance 4.2 Ohms, Sensitivity 88 dB, Power Handling 100 Watts

The passive crossovers use both a 6 and 12 dB per octave slope.
The crossover frequency when selected to the "A" position is is 3500 Hz at 6 dB per Octave or first order, and when used in the "B" position the crossover is 12 dB per Octave or second order at 5000 Hz.

    Thanks for the info Kim.

Here is a pic of the crossovers I had called you about a while back:

Ace Hardware carries the polish, so I ended up getting it that day and it worked well. Thanks for the help.

along similar lines, i understand where the limits of a speaker's frequency response come from, it's where it falls off to -3dB (i think). but, does that mean that the speaker can be harmed if it's run above or below that limit? assuming that the xmax is not exceeded? obviously, for tweeters, that's not a lot, but can i push my mm6 mids lower than their listed range if i ensure they're within their excursion limits?
