Amp cables

I bought an amplifier its my first one,what I need to know is exactly what type of wires do I need to connect it to my reciever,is there a specific amp wire,or just an rca cable?

an RCA cable is what you need. no special cables for an amp.

Stereo RCA audio cable. If you bought it from a mega-store, I'd suggest going back there and looking at the AR brand. These are usually about $10-$50. If there is no AR brand Monster will work too, but for the price AR is usually better to my ears.

You could go to Radio Shack and get some of their Fusion cables too. These are way good for their price.

Alot of people here at the Polk Forum have nothing but good to say about the Fusion line of cables from Radio Shaque.

Do a search on the forum about cables. You'll find tons of info on different brands.
