    Default Transducers In Home Theater

I was looking on the web and i came up on a thing about mounting transducers in your couch. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and if they were a noticable improvement. Heres the website http://www.clarksynthesis.com/home-products.php

They have been around for awhile. They usually take high amounts of amp power. When I checked into them years ago the amps were much more than the tranducers.
They are rarely used in HomeTheaters, little interest and not pushed by the market.

What's the alternative - simple. Use all that time & money and buy a sub that is going to produce real low sound frequencys that make your couch and home vibrate.
    Like my PB2+......;)
PS3 and HD Front Projection, life is good. Too bad Blu-Ray and the PS3 are already obsolete.....

I agree with Scott. I thought about transducers a long time ago, but then decided to get the real deal with an SVS.

Clark Synthesis is a pretty good company to deal with. I bought an amp from them and they did a pretty good job with packing, CS and the like. THe advantage of transducers is that you can keep the volume turned down really low and still "feel" the bass. This helps when the kiddies/sig other are asleep.

I don't know anything about their transducers, but their CS on other transactions have been great (on par or better than SVS)
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
