Question Lsi7 more forward than the Lsi9?

Just wondering folks... is it just me or are the LSi7 more forward than the LSi9? I seem to recall the LSi7 having a more forward sound than the LSi9 during my auditions a few months ago.

The reason why I ask is that in some recordings, I find that the LSi7 become sibilant at high volumes... I just wondered if this is the case with its bigger brothers, the LSi9.

    Thoughts? ;)

I don't know, I had both and I noticed only that the LSi7's sounded better to me. No sibilance though. Pretty much better in every way.

This could definitely be a result of the D'appolito (hope I spelled that correctly) configuration. If I remember correctly, having the mid-tweeter-mid configuration narrows the "width" of the sound from each speaker, but increases the "height". If anyone has some good acoustic background, feel free to confirm/deny what I've said.
