    Default SDA 2b's

    Found what looks like a nice pair,SDA 2b's,their close to home,and the price is right.What can anybody tell me about them...as far as sound,not too many drivers,I was wanting a pair of 1a's,but these look good,their asking $400,will they be an upgrade over my RTi8's?

    For $400, I would make sure the 2b's are equipped with the interconnect cable. Be sure you also have a non-common ground amplifier.

    Will they be an upgrade over your Rti-8's? Yes - a major one.

    Buy the speakers, if you don't get the cable, you can make one. What kind of power do you plan on using?

    I have a Carver TFM 22,its 2 channel amp...225wpc in stereo...also,what about the bass,will I need to continue to use my sub? I do appreciate all the input!

    OHH do ya think $400 is a good,or reasonable deal,they were listed at $1200 original price by the seller.

    reasonable price, look at it this way, you could hold out for a pair at 300.00, pay 100.00 in shipping and receive busted speakers, or just pick these up local and save the damage. at 400.00 you are coming out ahead.

    Get 'em....no sub needed, IMO.

    If, for some reason, you don't like them....you will have NO problem unloading them.

    I ALWAYS use an ass-gasket. Never hover because of splash down and back splatter. I also float landing pad made from TP for a soft landing to avoid the above. One can never be too cautious when dealing with the general public. - RonP

    Get 'em and don't look back. I have a pair right now, they are excellent speakers. I don't think you need to convert your sub, but I use an equalizer to get a little more from them.
