    Got a tape loop?

Edit: Thought I'd try being a little more helpful than just the above question...

I see the AVR330 has a tape loop, so I assume your 325 will as well.

Use an RCA pair to connect the 325's TAPE OUT to the EQ's INPUT and the EQ's OUTPUT to the 325's TAPE IN. (The EQ might actually refer it's connections as "TAPE __" as well.)

Choose your source as normal, but engage the 325's Tape Monitor function and, assuming all the buttons on the EQ are set properly, you should be EQ'in...

You're right, you may have to choose "Tape".

Showing my age there and old 2 ch Pre-amps had a separate tape loop (or monitor) switch you engaged overtop whatever input selection you made..

The tape monitor loop will probably only work on an analog stereo input. So if you have your CD player hooked up digitally, also hook up the analog outputs to your receiver (easiest way is to an unused input).

Well I downloaded the HK AVR325 manual, and did not see any mention of a tape monitor loop (did a quick search).

So if the avr 325 doesn't have a tape moniro loop, you have to hook up your equalizer as a pre-processor.

What you do, is hook the stereo analog output of your CD player to an input on your equalizer. Then connect the output of the equalizer to a stereo analog input of your avr325.
