mm2124 acting weird

my mm2124 which is around 8-9 months old, wont produces any bass for some reason. its not the amp. when i push the woofer, the cone part, then i sort of jump starts the woofer and it starts to work. for a while. then it stops again and i have to push the cone and start the bass again. whats wrong?

sounds like the lead came off the terminal or off the woofer...is it under warranty?
if yes, send it back
