    Default hurricane ivan pictures

Well, Hurricane Ivan finally made it to us in PA on Friday night. It pretty much poured all night, then moved upstream, so even when it was nice and sunny this afternoon, the creeks were still coming up.

Pics I've taken can be seen here -> www.king-nerd.com/dood/hurricaneivan.htm

The susquehanna river here isn't expected to crest until tomorrow around 10am, at almost 10 feet ABOVE flood levels! Luckily, I live far away and up on a hill, but still sucks for the town.

they're predicting that it will crest somewhere around 1-2ft below the levels of the flood of '72 (Hurricane Agnes). Anyway, thought you guys might like to see the pics.

PS- all of those pictures are of Fishing Creek. I doubt I'll be able to get any of the river, as they have most of the lower part of town closed off now. Oh, and none of those cabins are mine... they're all summer rental cabins for the city folk :-P

I just got back from hurricane relief in Alabama, and the flooding was incredible.

I am glad you are safe up there in PA Nadams, looks like that Ford got some good "off road" duty eh? :)

Got into Bloom today and took a bunch of pictures (97 to be exact). 56 of those pictures are on this page -> www.king-nerd.com/dood/bloomivanflood.htm

Be warned, the pics total about 6mb. This is the worst I've ever seen in my 18 years, and this is rivaled only by Agnes in '72. Simply amazing pictures.
