    Question Are These Fusion Cables...

I've heard good things about Radio Stacks 'Fusion' cable. Of course they are but a memory now but the parts express catalog and there web site makes me believe these 'buy out' cables are indeed Fusions.

Any one who has seen and/or used these; can you verify these are probably fusions?

    Default 98% sure...

Being x-shack, they look very close to the fusions. The only thing I might say is I seem to remember some sort of writing on the connectors of the fusion series. It wasn't overly large, and may just be hidden here, or might just not have em.

I would say almost definite given the signature 'shack red and white ring, and the knurled grip as well as the shape of the outside of the RCAs.

'tis a shame they disco'd those... I guess they cant make money selling you a cell-phone with a fusion cable hehehe.....
The first shack I worked at had a 'bone yard' of sorts in the back with all the optimus components... raw drivers, real parts like crossovers, chokes... all disco. Fusion was their last attempt at quality. Man that company is on the downside of a cliff.

    edit:
In FACT... this makes me 99.9999% sure right here:
**Nitrogen injected foam insulation for reduced capacitance
--This is a patented feature of Radio-Shack cables and is for flexibility as well.
**Sold by the Nation's largest electronic specialty chain for $49.99!
--That should make that last little percentage....

At 10.33 each ....... Too bad the 'card is fulled up :(

I bought a pair for the shop rig......not that good IMO. Sibilant highs and sloppy bass.

    Default No

Fusion cables had a 'box' on the ends

Or is that what this is?

Not a box, more of a collar and yes Sid, those are the same cables.
