He saw a WTB ad that I had ran awhile back and kept my address handy.He said that he would contact me when he was ready to sell and would give me first dibs.Well he did and I really screwed up by not buying them.The secret to this deal was that he offered them to me for way lower that what they were advertised for!:(

Great deal if you look at the new price, used...just average. However it is a great deal if you buy the whole system and pick it up as it saves time/money/gas...

Me personally, I feel it's a killer price for a killer 5 channel setup.

To hell with what **** goes for on Ebay! If you feel it's worth to pay a specific amount for a specific product, then rock and roll!

That Orion Book can kiss my ass to. How do they determine the prices that are published in their book? Orion Book value, Ebay value and personal value are all different animals.

Would you pay over 800 grand for a Barry Bonds 700 HR ball that realistically has a value of a few dollars (price of the ball new)? Hell no!!! Someone did and obviously it was worth it to them.

There was a CS400i that went on the bay for >$350 a couple weeks back. Must be all those radio operators bidding and jacking up the price. ;) You know, for those binaural re-defecators.

The deal has been done, folks. Jeff and I got together at lunch time to complete the deal.

BTW, I'm still a Polk head, as my ceiling speakers in my new house will be the rc80s. I hooked these up a couple of weeks ago when I got them. Of course, sitting on the floor tilted up and not mounted into a ceiling is not the best way to test these, but they do sound a lot like the rt800i.

i have the 800i 400i and 2 stes of 500i as surounds and it is awsome. and if you get a good 125 wpc they realey sing and i am not talking the amps bult in to a avr. if you go pre pro you will love the speakers even more.

Im Using a Sunfire Cinema 225x5 amp and Sunfire Theater Grand I processor with (2) Sunfire Signature Subs,(2) RT 800i's a CS400i and FX500's and a new Mitsu 65' widescreen.:cool:
