Question Anyone know why the RT20's were so expensive?

I'm assuming it was cutting edge technology, and they had to recoup some R&D costs.

    Because on paper, the RT2000:
hit lower and with twice the sub power,
    It has a higher efficiency,
and higher upper end as well.
And they weigh 10 lbs more (also a good thing)

And the RT2000's sold for $1200 less.

    Am I missing something?
