I already have a 303 in my office rig. Would the Dayton sub be a signifigant upgrade for only $99?

Bump.
Nobody has had any experience with both of these subs?
unfortunatly, i have little to no experience with both. if i had to wager a guess though, i would say the 303 has higher spl levels (shear volume) but the dayton will probably have more quality of sound. i base this on the many raves i have heard about that little sub. this choice will depend on the size of the room. if it is larger, might want to stick with the 303, but if you have a smaller room, trying the little dayton would be worth it.

of course, another option would be to pocket your money until you can step up to a more significant sub. the HSU stf-2 is a fave in the sub 500 category. closer to 500 is the hsu PB10 that people have also been raving about. if you have some semblance of woodworking skill, DIY is an option if your looking for bang for the buck. i built my own sub and will never go back.
