Default Tell me if this sounds right....

I spent about 2 hours up at my friends Circuit City talking to him and the installer that is going to be putting my system in next week.

Here is what I was told about a couple things. BTW I am running 2x 300.2 and a 400.4 for a total of 3 amps.

Cause I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox, it might be too hard to get to the Ground on the Battery to change that out to 1/0 Gauge wire. He said just get a D-Block for the ground and it will be fine, a 4 gauge in from the amps and then 1/0 out and to the frame of the car.

I have heard that when running a 1/0 gauge kit you should change out that battery ground too, should I insist on that getting done or doesnt it really matter?

its not necessary, but it can help your voltage from the amps drawing so much power
