scratch-n-dent CS400i

A local store has a scratch 'n dent CS400i center channel speaker for $99. Needs a tweeter (dome pushed in) and the front cover is missing. No idea if the other drivers are good, but they don't show any physical damage. What would the parts cost?

The tweeter may not even be a problem. It is relatively easy to take the tweeter apart and push the dome back out. If you did have to replace the tweeter, it would probably cost between $50-$100(although Polk doesn't supply the trilaminate dome tweeters anymore). New grills are ysually between $20-$25. Overall, it sounds like a good deal at that price. I'm sure there are a few people that would take it off your hands if bought it and didn't want it.

I looked on the Polk parts lists and could find any CS400i parts listed. What part are tweeter and grill part numbers and most of all, are parts still available?

The tweeter dome is smashed flat, not a simple dent.
