hey i paid 175$ for:

two rockrord fosgate punch xlc 10 inch subs
1plexyglass box
1 mtx thunder 4250D amplifier...

did i get a good deal and do you know the value of each of the things i bought?

For $175, that sounds like a good deal. Although Im not familiar with the MTX 4250D. But if its an MTX then its a damn fine amp.

All I can say is that its only worth what someone will pay for it, unless its new in a box (cardboard, not plexiglass/wood box ):p Man, I'm making some worthless (or maybe not?) posts lately..

Erik - I'd recommend that you check eBay for the going prices. That'll usually be the best indicator for you.

Well considering the XLC's are 5 years old, they're probably worth $25 each now days. The amp, equally as old, might be worth $50. The box, well it probably was a prefab box with plexi to add "coolness factor" so it's value is negative $50. I figure you paid $175 for what should've gone for $50. Does this help?

Ive never heard of those MTX amps. How old are they?

Well, seriously think about it. 5 year old subs even on eBay wouldn't get you $50. The amp might get you $75 if you're lucky and that box.... $25? I doubt even on eBay, parting it out or combined as a package, you could've got $175 for it all. This is car audio. People don't usually keep their stuff that long. Hell, most don't last that long thanks to Loudness buttons and retarded Rap basslines.
