Default This dude is on CRACK!

Check out the BIN price.

Seller thinks they are the 1B model also.

Good lord, get it f***ing right before you sell!

This is the funny part:

"PRICE POINT HERE IS FORMALITY-WE FORMALY REFUSE TO BUDGE IF THE PRICE IS MINISCULE THUS PRICE IS SET AT A CONVENIENT START AND YOUR OFFER SHOULD IT BE ACCEPTED WILL BE ADJUSTED IN STORE FOR A FINAL SALE."

Convenient start??? Dude better push the decimal point one spot to the left for a "Convenient Start".

That's that same auction that keeps popping up lately. I have sent the seller an email asking him to join the discussion here.

If he would like to comment on how and what determined that asking price, I'd personally love to hear it. There isn't any justification IMO, but I may as well be fair.

I advise no Polkie to buy these speakers unless this individual at least states his case publically in this venue.

Default FLAGSHIP POLKS

John,

We first caught notice of that fellow a little over a week ago:

Sweet Deal On SDA 1C's (eBay)

It is strange that the auction does not list a beginning and ending date. I have it on my eBay "watch" list that says there are 19 more days left 'til the auction ends.

I assume that the seller thinks $1200 is a fair price because he has seen the "flagship Polk" SDA's sell in the $2000 range and his speakers are the third model down from the "flagship Polks".

DOH! My bad guys.

Still, it's worth showing the stupidity of this seller again.

You could buy 2 if not 3 pairs of those for that price...

I can't speak for other members, but I was not at all bothered by the ad. I called attention to it because I thought it had entertainment value.

I could care less, if he sells it for that price, you better bet I would want to be the seller.

I see some auctions for other collectables i'm interested in and sometimes say "what the hell are they thinking" But maybe everybody doesnt have a firm grip on what they are selling is worth and truely ask what they "think" its worth.. and arent really trying to screw anybody, who knows? My bet alittle research would uncover a close price worth

I think the seller is thinking that these speakers are worth half of
the $2,000 price he saw the SRS flagship speakers go for because these 1C's have HALF the amount of DRIVERS. He thought , "The top of the line SRS have 8 Midrange/bass drivers and these speakers have 4 SO they must be HALF the price".
I'm sure this was HIS way of thinking.
