I've been feeling very under the weather for the past few days, and the guys in brown delivered a nice audio remedy...

Enter the Dynaudio Contour 1.1's. My search for a speaker for the second rig is now over - - Im in love.

Bear in mind I've kept my mains now for well over a years time!

I took the Totems out on a date to celebrate. What a great time it was.... they are beautiful to look at, hardly ate a bite and didnt say much. What more can a guy ask for?

At first glance, I thought they were full-size speakers on stands sitting on a hardwood floor, either side of your flat screen TV. WHOA! Where'd he get that giant mouse and keyboard!

    Enjoy!

This is definately a speaker that takes some getting used to. Once you do, its hard to stop listening. Sure you want to place those bets fellas?

Congrats Sean on the speakers. I find my 1.3s to be very picky with what they like to roam with. Change one interconnect or a tube in my cd player and they will let you know it. But you know that already.

So what are your impressions compared to the Audio Notes?

The Teac can handle the 4 ohm load of the 1.1s?

Did you try the 1.1s with the Rega gear or the Musical Fidelity integrated? Any difference in the "sterility" of the sound (if at all).

We want some sort of review dammit!;) Short and sweet (not a novel) is okay here.

The 1.1's are a fantastic speaker. I love em to death.

Good going man , you scored a speaker that you can grow with.

Thanks boys. It has been such a journey just to get to this point. God knows this road wont end anytime soon, but I think I've come across a break.

Will post some thoughts / impressions later on this evening.

    Cheers,

    Sean

nice! love to hear your perspective on it compared to 9, or 15 for that matter. A novel would be fine with me, so please be specific..:)

    Congrats!
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
