Default Monitor 10 vs. Monitor 11t drivers

Hello all. I have a pair of Monitor 11t speakers that were made around 1989. I have a bad driver and I can get a hold of a replacement driver but it's for a Monitor 10. The add says that this driver was used on many types of Monitor speakers but the guy can't tall me if they will fit the 11ts. Is this the same driver? I think the ohms might be different but I'm not sure.

    Thanks

Get him to tell you the MWxxxx on the back of the driver. If it's a MW6510 then buy it, if not then buy a new MW6510 from Polk.

Yeah, I tried that and he said something like there was no model number on the back (although he did include a picture of the back of the drivers so I know they're Polks. Just can't make out the model number.

Anyway, it's a bit stange. Perhaps I should just buy a new one.

Just buy a new one, that way you're 100% and not getting a used driver. I would buy a pair and have one handy for a future problem should it occur.

I stopped worrying about finding old drivers ages ago, buy new, while they are still available.
