The silver res is good stuff. Had the interconnects and wire for a brief period of time. Thinking about flirting with it again someday.

    I *do*...

I post a *link* to the review...

My reviews are long, and would take up several posts...

Last thing I want to do is add to my post count

If you have a problem going to an external website to see a review, thats your problem...not mine...

I'll provide a link to the Ethereal review when I'm done, until then - yall can go to my site and read what I got...

    Thats what I've been doing..

You sure are getting grumpy with your old age...;) :p

I read the review on your site, it wasn't that long. You're not that special, do it the way it was set up to be done or don't do it at all. That gumpy enough for you? :D

I am out in the field this week.
But, I will see if the office will send me the tech. drawing.
They have a lot of data that while not relavent to the average consumer, you might find of value.

You brought up some points that were major battles for us during the design process.

    1. Cable diameter and tensil stiffness was an issue for the same reasons that you mentioned.
The marketing people felt that a thicker/stiffer cable would show a higher perceived value, I wanted thinner more flexable cable that would be easier to route. (I am still an installer).

    2. Painted barrel was to match our RCA terminals (and the Parasound Halo gear). I thought/think that it looks good.

    3. Cotton has two purposes.
    A. It makes it easier to pull thru a bundle.
    B. Looks good (everybody else was/is using tech flex).

BTW: Those cables have had no burn in, They are straight form the warehouse.

Did you also get the speaker cables to test?

Thank You for taking the time to do a thurough test and post your findings.

Nope, I didn't get the speaker cable - I was more so interested in the XLR, because I've never used any before...

Thanks for your thorough reply - and I agree with the easier to route thing, definetely is easier than the Signals, but i only have to two shelves of gear...hehe

If I had multiple shelves of gear, the Ethereals would be a godsend...hehe

How long do the ethereals need to be burned it? After the signals get burned in, I will burn them in...

I don't quite believe in burn in of cables - but, I would rather have both burned in and give them a fair comparison...

Oh yeah - thanks for any type of info your willing to give - I would definetely find that interesting...

And thanks again for supplying the cables to the program!

    Sid,

you're gonna like the Signal Cables and your DAC. DAC's are great. You will notice some good improvement with the DAC. What kind of CD player will the DAC be hooked up to?
