I recently bought a couple of LSi9s and a NAD T753, from which I was planning to build my HT. Because my primary interest is music, I need to move my speakers to another room away from the TV where the kids spend a lot of their time.
I would like to get a HT system (or build one) with approx. $1200 (no receiver) where I can also get good music quality (I hardly watch movies). I was thinking in using LSi7’s as fronts and build it from there but the whole thing is too expensive (Also the surrounds for the LSi line are too big) Any recommendations on what to look that would allow to enjoy good music in the TV room? How does PSB compares with the other Polks bookshelf’s?
Also, what would suggest for a sub for the LS9’s? Budget $500. Mid-size room? Listen to all kind of music.
Thanks.
