H, pick up his "Irish Tour '74" cd, it's one of the best live performances ever. If your feet aren't tapping to it, you must be dead.

His performances on the Peter Green tribute cd,"Rattlesnake Guitar", are the absolute highlights of that double cd. Thanks for the heads-up Jesse.

I picked up a Rory Gallagher album at the record store tonight, since you brought it up. Don't remember the name of the album, but I know it was a lve recording. Will let you know what I think tomorrow probably.

    F1,

So this is a domestic release? This would make it BMG's first domestic non-classical SACD release. Cool!

No, it's a import. Sad that the RIAA, the recording companies and the artists in America are such greedy bastards.

Ok, my copy arrived yesterday. This one is a mixed bag, disc one is just about a total waste sonically. Even their choice for Tattoo'd Lady just plain sucks. Disc 2 is better sonically, but the song selection leaves much to be desired. I give this one 2 stars, sad really.

IMO, Irish Tour '74 would have been a much better choice to release on SACD.
