    Have any of you guys heard these speakers? Those that have them seem to feel VERY strongly about them. Just checking to see how prolific this brand really is.

    Never heard of them myself...

    But I think you will find on forums like this, no matter the company, the members will feel really strongly about that particular brand ;)

    I'm not sure if you are a emmber of HTF forums but this guy John Garcia raves on and on about these blasted speakers and how the LSi's dont hold a candle to them. I know people always think what they have is best, but for this guy to be so into GR there has to be something about them...:D Basically the disease that is this hobby is looking for a reason to mess aroudn some more and try another speaker of some sort.

    Danny's designs are top notch.

    Wait another month or so, he has 2 new designs, one floorstander, and a 2-way shelf speaker you won't believe. I got to hear them both when he brought his prototypes down to Dodd Audio.

    The GRs have a reputation as a high bang for the buck DIY kit. They are popular over at HTF.

    Never heard them myself though.

    I dont have the money for new speakers, but I might be able to swing a used pair of AV-2s. I'm guessing the new models will cost quite a bit.
