    Default Baffles: Plus/Minus

Do you guys use baffles? What are the benefits or faults of them?

    Thanks,

They are advertised to keep the elements off your speakers which I guess could be an issue but in the 15 years Ive had aftermarket speakers in my doors Ive NEVER had one fizzle out do to over exposure.

Other than that, they wouldnt serve a purpose. Theyre not airtight so they cant function as an enclosure, which is a good thing as theyre way to small for a proper enclosure.

My advice would be save your money.
