Good Surround Speaker Wire (12GA,10GA, Twisted wire etc)

I use Monster In-Wall CL3 14 gauge speaker wire for my surrounds. My length were 25 ft and 30 ft for surrounds
I re-arrangeed the wiring for my HT and my length has changed to 30ft and 50 ft. I had to patch the wire for my 50 ft length as I did not have contiguous length.
My question is should I switch to 12 GA speaker wire. I'm thinking of Sound King 12 GA or Carol 12 GA 4 conductor since my surrounds are biwired LSi7.
Or should I go 10GA.
I was looking for 12 GA twisted speaker wire on PartsExpress but could not find one.
Here are my choices in order of preference
1. 12 GA Twisted pair
2. 10 GA wire.(Does 10 GA make sense or 12 GA is good enough)
3. 12 GA 4 conductor wire
4. 12 GA 2 Soundking OFC copper wire.

Any other suggestions?

12 x 4 will be more then nessary for rears. If your running them in small which is what I would do, you can pull it off with 14 x 4 allday

Dan I am worried about the length of 50 ft and 12 GA is recommended for that length. I'm using inwalls but the speaker wire are not outside so i don't necessarily need the CL3 certified wires. On the other hand I think the inwall are less prone to interference because of thick jacket around the wires.
Do u know of a place where I can get the 12GA twisted wire?

Dan what interconnects do you recommend? Currently I'm using an unknown brand NXG Banana plugs that I bought it off eBay a while ago. I don't like the crimp or solder type interconnect. I like the ones that are easy to connect and gives the most reliable contact.

14 guage is plenty for surround spekaers man. 12 guage is also fine. It's not that much more and worth the extra cost. Liberity and Beldon both make 12 x 4 conductor cl3 inwall speaker wire. Whenever you run inside the wall , cl3 is what you should use as per fire code.

Interconnects? You mean speaker wire ends? For inwalls no connectors are needed. You simply use bare wire. there is no need to add connectors as Inwalls don't come out often. Most of the reason to use connectors on speaker wire is for easy removal. Use connectors at the amp end. The ones you have in the pic look fine. They look like Niles brand.

I use those for all my nanner plugs, and they work well and fit nice and tight. I did find every once in a while I have to check them to be sure they are tight

These have the most surface area I've seen and fit so tight I though they were the wrong size at first ;)

It is believed that there is a issue regarding twisted wires vs the untwisted. Correct me if I am wrong, twisted is slightly - performance.
