Default New pecking order with AVRs in the house

I did have a NAD T753 in my main system with NHT Evolution series speakers and a Denon AVR3802 in my bedroom system with older generation Polk RTi series speakers. Between the 2 AVRs, I feel that the NAD is better, which is why it is with the NHT speakers.

I just picked up a new Marantz SR8400 receiver at a ridiculously low price with the intention of it being an upgrade over the Denon 3802 in my secondary system at a price that was worth it.

However when I got to thinking about it, maybe the Marantz 8400 is even better than the NAD 753 too, and I maybe I should put it in the main system with the NHTs and move the NAD to the bedroom system with the Polks.

Either way, the 3802 is getting the boot.

What would you guys do between those two for the main system, Marantz 8400 or NAD 753?

Well, I'm a fan of Marantz, but NAD make some great stuff, too. It really depends on which one sounds best to you and which sounds best in which set-up.

I'd say the Marantz 8400 would be a step up over the NAD 753, but if it were a NAD 763, it would be a different story then.
