Morel Pulse 6

hello everyone,

i want to find out if "Morel" is a good and known company for car speakers, does anyone here know it? or can find out if it's reliable

i want to buy their "pulse 6" component speakers, which are cheaper but have 120 rms which is much higher than the rest at those prices.

morel is a pretty good company... i knew they had a car line, but i've never heard anything about it, good or bad...

Morel makes an AWESOME speaker. The Elate series are just about the best sounding speakers on the planet. The best way to describe them is "smooth". Smooth as silk they are.

If your choice is Morel or anything else, its gonna be hard to not choose Morel.

although i cant find in the website you gave me the Morel Pulse 6,

i'm trying to understand how it has 120 rms when the rest of the speakers at the same price has about 40...

if any of you find the specifications of these speakers plz tell me.

Morel is a well known DIY company, with tons of offerings on Parts Express

They are used in tons of DIY projects, usually for high output/low xover points. As they manufacturer pretty big dome tweeters (not like a cone) That can be crossed low (lower than normal) and can handle extroidinarially loud volumes and power...

They are also known the be smooth, I don't even think they offer a metal dome tweeter.

I wonder how Parts Express HA DIY drivers would work in a car, as long as they were a 4 ohm model - which they have plenty of.

It is interesting, though, how all the specs for their component speakers are in PDFs. At least it doesn't take Acrobat Reader as long to load up on the second, third, fourth, etc. time as it does on the first....

i've got Adobe Reader on my startup list... with all the other stuff on that list, the reader's pretty much transparent, and i don't get the crazy-long startup time when i download the first pdf of the day

So you mean to say that you have it running in the background, hogging resources and making everything else run slower? I'll just avoid PDFs, thank you. :p

it takes up less than 20 meg of memory, and i force it into the pagefile more often than not... i think that in terms of the gig i have, it's inconsequential :).

Yeah, probably so. I, however, only have 512MB of w/e cheap ram Compaq threw in the case. :(
