    Question Adcom screw problem

This ? is for Adcom owners. I've had the top off my amp before, a long time ago to clean out dust, etc. But recently I can't seem to find the right bit to use on the screws that hold the top on. They are either to small, to big or don't have enough splines to fit in the head. I know I'm not crazy, but what kind of bit can be used to remove the screws?

    Thanks

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass

Sounds like a torx -- like an allen wrench socket in star shape.

The ones in the top of my pre-amp (gtp-400) are allen wrench type. And I am pretty sure they are metric.
