as far as i know, the SS range just includes components for now, but i believe that subs are in the works.

I for one would like to see Polk come out with some higher rated subs.

The ones they have now are not wimpy by any means and are comparative to others on the market but Id like to see a line of DVC subs that are actually double the power ratings. A 600 watt MM2104 would be cool!

We should have something new this fall/ winter. Not a replacement for either current line, but a step up from them.

a "super sub" could really help Polk with the more experienced crowd,

something in the Brahma/XXX/RL-p/MAG/H2/CMPx2/Ti etc high power SQL sub level

a 1600+ watt SQ oriented sub that happens to have good extension and output

It's a step in the right direction, but it won't be that much more expensive than the MM2 stuff (maybe twice the price), if we went from a $170 woofer to a $600 (or more) woofer as the next step not many people would be willing to spend that much. If a $350 woofer is successful it'll make us feel better about the higher end stuff we're thinking about.

YES! polk competition to the subs he listed would make me very happy :) (unless, of course, i've already finished my install)...
