    I brought home a new Rotel RCD-1072 tonight!!! It sounds great & regardless of the weather it's going to be a GREAT WEEKEND!!:D

    Thanks Jesse, Bear & Phuz!

    My system has been running for 10 hrs straight! I'm a happy camper.

    Bear, it is a very good feeling to finally get this piece of gear that I have been lusting after for over a yr!

    Phuz, sorry I went from a 15 yr old piece right to the newest piece offered by Rotel. However I can tell you that all of Rotels gear is top notch & I doubt that you are missing out on too much. There is a bit more clarity to the music, but so far nothing is really jumping out at me as a stand out difference. Which tells me how good Rotel makes their gear.

    The only complaint I have is the cheap plastic cd tray. My other was solid steel!

    I can easily see myself keeping this piece for 15 yrs!

    Off to listen to more music!
