    Default tube pre question

    I have an outstanding pair of tubes for my pre and another back-up pair on the way...(actually I have a couple different pairs that really turn me on..!!)

    My question to the tube Guru`s (you know who you are)....

    Do they make a tube pre amp that uses four 6922/6dj8 tubes ?

    This hobby is worse than crack !


    I can`t put the tubes down..!!! :D

    I`m fighting it...

    Anthem Pre 2L. Can be found on the used market in the $500 +/- range.

    I had the Anthem Pre, as did Doro for quite awhile. I believe emlyn still has the one I sold him.

    It's a quality preamp. Has remote, muting, lots of inputs. My reason for selling was I found a Eastern Electric MiniMax for a good price and it doesn't require removing the chassis cover to roll tubes.
