They ended up being 10 A's. They're in my house naked. Anyone have something to clothe these babies?

RTA 12B grills. I doubt they are the same size though. Be too easy.

Thanks, but they have different part numbers thru POLK.
See you Saturday. Chuck pm'd me this morning about a time to meet. I said what ever is convenient for you two.
Seeing that I haven't had any luck in finding grills for my newly acquired Monitor 10A's, does anyone know how difficult it would be to constuct a pair? Also, if anyone sees any on Ebay, please let me know.
Thanks,
Noel
If you want I can try and draw the frame on autocad for my 10B's then all you haev to do is add an inch or so to cover the bottom of the cabinet because my grills don't go the full length.
I don't think it would be hard at all.

That would be much appreciated, but I don't think that the grills for the 10A's is full length seeing that the polk emblem is on the bottom wood trim. Does that seem right? But anyway, if you get the time, go ahead and I'll take the measurements and compare them.
Thanks,
Noel
Ok I'll try and whip some drawings up after school today. I'll let ya know when I finish them.
I belive 10As are supposed to have full length grills. --see link--

That would be much appreciated. And no, mine have about a 3" wood/veneer trim piece at the bottom with the polk logo. I'll get the serial #'s when I get home tonight and call Polk to make sure that they are indeed 10A's. When my new driver gets here this week, I'll be pulling the bad one and that should give me a build date. But I believe they're from 1984.
Here you go... it's a pretty rushed and not very pretty drawing but pretty damn accurate. The grill post hole thingies are 3/8" (diameter). Maybe you would want to do a mock up cardboard one just to make sure it fits nicely.
