POLK db subs

Does anyone have any experience with the db Series subs? I have all Polk Momo components for the highs and US Acoustic amps. The Polk Momo subs are just too expensive. I've been researching different subs and the Polk db series seem pretty good. There doesn't seem to be much difference between the Momo and db series other than the look. Please let me know what you guys think. I want to finish my system and the last thing I have to buy are the subs. I'm looking for SQ not SPL so any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated. Oh, my vehicle is a 2005 GMC Sierra extended cab so the subs will be going in a pre-fab downfiring sealed box. There are several differences between the Momo and the DB.

Power handling, quality of build materials and components and SQ. The Momo is a much smoother sounding sub than the DB which is no slouch itself.

Expensive? Sounddomain.com has them for very cheap. The MM2104 10" is $108! Thats a smokin' deal on a sub that will easily hold its own against a sub costing 3 times as much!

ok, so is the db sub a good sub? i like the momos but i want to spend under $150 for BOTH subs and crutchfield has the db's for buy one get the second half off. any other suggestions in that price range? what about the us acoustic amps? are they good?

Yes, the DB subs are very good subs. Gonna be hard to beat em for the money. Thats the great thing about any Polk product line. It may not be the best in the world but for the money you cant beat it!

Us Acoustic, as far as cheap amps go its one of the better ones. Itll make its power and wont crap out on ya. My favorite budget amp is Profile. Very well built and will cleanly make its rated power. If youre gonna go with a budget amp, I strongly recommend the Profile over just about anything else.
