If you want to drive to Peoria (or therebouts) you and scomp can leave your vehicles at my place and we can all travel over in my van. (more room for gear that way) Just wanted to offer.

Of course it has to be on a weekend I am available but still it would save quite a bit on Gas to carpool for the ride.

The dates would be fixed to June 10/11 if it's going to be at my place, which I'd love to share with the forum.

Summer..BQ time...if you have not tried my "special" tri tips "a la parrilla", you have not yet tried anything :)

OK, I'll lock June 10/11 on my calendar. I think meeting at Big Al's in Peoria to check out the ... errr check the sound system ..... is a swell idea :D I have heard that their tweeters and woofers are very fine.

Unfortunately...I won't be able to host the gathering on June 11/12; I am being pulled to support some projects in Latin America and will need to do some heavy travelling during the summer. Right now I do not have firm dates, but schedule is getting busy early June, and knowing how these things work I do not want to have everyone planning for that weekend and then call it off at the last minute.

It's a pitty because I really wanted to have some polkies over for some tunes, drinks and food.....we'l do it sometime in the near future.
