    Default Best Concert Venue

Well, since we are having all these "Best of..." lists, I think one is required for the best place to see a concert.

My vote goes to Red Rocks southwest of Denver. It's where U-2 filmed "Under a Blood Red Sky". The acoustics are damn near perfect due to the rck formations behind and on either side of the seating.

Oh my god that place looks kick ASS.

In my area I'd have to say the "Bank of America Pavilion", previously known as the FleetBoston Pavilion, but forever to me known as Harborlights. It's really just a tent on the water, but... I love the ocean, and having an outdoor venue right in downtown Boston on the water is the coolest.

If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Seen multiple concerts at Red Rocks, and I would give it a 9.9 out of 10. The .1 drop is that the seating is miserable on your ass and back.

The "new" Grand Ole Opry house next to Opryland Hotel has probably the best acoustics I've ever heard. Saw Bob Dylan there several years ago. Not alot of seating but the sound is tops!!! Neil Young plays there alot. Some acts won't use it because of the limited seating. Not enough moola coming in.

Another great place would be the Hatch Shell in Boston. 100,000+ people can't all be crazy on the 4th of July!:D
