I ALWAYS use an ass-gasket. Never hover because of splash down and back splatter. I also float landing pad made from TP for a soft landing to avoid the above. One can never be too cautious when dealing with the general public. - RonP
I like the walnut finish on these better than the oak.

That's a great price considering it's in sexy walnut and has the new tweeters.
Luc! Give in to the dark side....

$2200+650 shipping
$2850 seems steep, but I guess you can't touch the sounds that SDA's can produce for anywhere close to that with modern speakers.

Some of you guys are dreaming and if you want to play you have to pay shipping. That shouldn't be considered part of the total price.
Listen, you can get cheap freight prices if you shop around. One of the best deals going is the online only "one time" LTL from ABF Freight, http://www.abfs.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1
SDA SRS 2.3TL's shipped coast to coast, $230.00 insured.

F1, does that usually include crating?
No. That was for pre-crated or cartons on a pallet, dock to dock. The freight companies don't crate jack sh*t, they just move stuff.

I used Craters and Freighters once for a plasma. They were reasonable and will pickup, crate and ship. I already checked though and there isn't a store anywhere near this place.
The seller may be able to crate or box and pallet them, but there is usually a charge associated with this.
This set was on consignment, and right when I was in negotiations, they sell locally.........
Snoozed, and I loozed.....
